Q.What is SpiderSkill?

A platform that connects students with verified startups for real internship opportunities.

Q.Is SpiderSkill free for students?

Yes, 100% free. Signing up, building your profile, and applying to internships costs nothing.

Q.How do I sign up?

Click “Sign Up” select “I'm a Student” fill in your details complete your profile. Done.

Profile & Applications

Q.What should my profile include?

Name, college, branch, year, CGPA, skills, resume (PDF), LinkedIn URL, and a portfolio link if you have one. A complete profile gets more responses.

Q.How does 1-click apply work?

Your profile is automatically sent to the founder when you apply. You can optionally add a short cover note (max 250 characters). No forms to fill.

Q.Can I apply to multiple internships at once?

Yes. Select multiple listings and apply to all in one go. Only apply to roles that match your skills — irrelevant applications may get your account penalised.

Q.Can I edit my application after submitting?

No. Applications cannot be edited once submitted. Keep your profile updated before applying.

Q.Is the cover note mandatory?

No, it's optional. But a clear, specific note (150 characters max) can help you stand out.

Tracking & Notifications

Q.How do I track my applications?

Check the Application Tracker in your dashboard. You'll also get email notifications on every status update.

Q.What do the application statuses mean?

  • Applied — Submitted, waiting for founder to review
  • Seen — Founder has viewed your application
  • Shortlisted — Founder is interested, may reach out soon
  • Rejected — Not moving forward this time

Communication & Safety

Q.How do founders contact me?

Through the SpiderSkill inbox. Respond promptly — ignoring messages can hurt your profile standing.

Q.A founder is asking me to pay a fee. What do I do?

Don't pay. SpiderSkill never allows founders to charge students anything. Report it immediately at info@spiderskill.com.

Q.What if a listing looks suspicious?

Don't proceed. Report it via the “Report” option on the listing or write to info@spiderskill.com.

Q.Can I save internships for later?

Yes. Use the Bookmark feature. Bookmarking does not count as applying.
